This hair mask is okay. It goes on fairly thick, and you have to leave it on for 5-10 mins. before rinsing. I wish the directions on the bottle were a little more descriptive. I have never used a hair mask before, so I wasn't sure if I needed to use it after freshly washing my hair or not. I also am not sure how often this is meant to be used. I wasn't a fan of the scent, and I also didn't realize, before ordering, that it contains silicone. I have fine hair, so I try to avoid this ingredient. It did leave my hair feeling soft. Overall, it's probably a great mask for others, but just not for me.

This restructuring mask from Alcove is all I could’ve hoped for and more. I’ve used it twice so far - the first time my husband said that it smelled wonderful and delicious like something to eat. Personally, I thought it smelled more fresh / green, maybe like cucumbers - I’m not quite sure, but it did smell very good.The second time my hair felt so good I decided to trim my ends. I was amazed how easy it was to trim after using this mask, the hair brushed out smooth without all the flyaways, I usually struggle with trying to trim the dead ends. Using my curling iron immediately afterwards confirmed the trim job was one of my best. In the photo - I was due for color last week -when several of my coworkers were out sick so I had to reschedule.The first time I use the Alcove hair mask, I portioned out a dollop about the size of a quarter and about three times as thick. I felt like that was too much and rinsed my hair with very warm water at the end. Doing this helped to take some of the excess mask out of my hair. The second time I used about half as much and it seemed perfect. So I suggest starting with about 1/4 as much compared to regular conditioner.If I was to try to find a negative it would be the packaging process of the bottle - it seems to have a weird crimp at one end. I don’t know if that’s typical or just a “one of” but it is something to mention. Other than that it’s 100%……. good definitely a five star product.I hope my thoughts and opinions help someone that’s trying to find the right hair products for their routine.

I use the restructuring mask once a week and let it sit in my hair for the about 10 minutes. The results are amazing. My hair is silky and smooth and tangle free. As I have weft/sewn extensions I want to take care of both my natural hair and extensions. The mask cares for both. My natural hair feels healthy and extensions maintain their luster and softness. Would recommend this as part of regular healthy hair maintenance.

The reconstruction mask is so nice on the hair I never use the mask, but I have no flyaways and the broken ends are gone.

One of my favourite products. Always have a giant pump bottle on hand. Leaves my hair so soft!

Meilleur masque pour les cheveux! Comparativement à d'autres masques ultra lourd, il se rince facilement et ne rend pas les cheveux plus lourds. Les cheveux sont vraiment bouncy après et si doux! Et vivement des produits fabriqués au Québec!

Works very well and does everything it claims! If you have fine hair, it won’t weigh it down but might get greasy toward end of the day.

Needs to be kept a long time on hair but works well
