Hydrating Shampoo

J’adore Ravive la couleur de mes rallonges

I really like this Alcove HYDRATING SHAMPOO and conditioner. I ordered both and used them together. It left my hair feeling silky and just clean and fresh. The shampoo lathers nicely and I had no issue rinsing it out. The scent is like a light vanilla to me though it says it's Sandalwood and Jasmine (and includes evening primrose oil, pomegranate seed oil, mango). I especially like the dispenser/cap which allows me to get just the right amount of shampoo. It's the first time I've seen this type of cap used for shampoo and conditioner. Oh, and the shampoo is purple ... just like it looks in the photo.

You can definitely use way less of this shampoo than you are used to. I am using about half the amount that I used to use with my prior brand and still getting about double the lather. I should probably be using less. With all that lather from such little product, I feel like this bottle will last a long time. I feel this is a good value for the price. Another positive is how it makes my hair feel. I am used to having to use a fair amount of conditioner to make my hair detangle and feel soft. I have to use way less conditioner now also. The shampoo alone leaves my hair feeling untangled and soft. The glittery purple color is fun! The scent is a pleasant floral type scent that is not overpowering.

This conditioner and shampoo combo are AMAZING! It was recommended to me by my hairstylist as my previous formula was leaving residue on my hair and causing lots of flaking on my scalp. I have been using Alcove for about 2 weeks now and I am so impressed with how lightweight and bouncy it leaves my hair! There is no residue left behind (you can literally FEEL the difference), and my scalp already has little to no flaking - I am officially a long-term customer!!

Very happy with this product. Doesn’t create mountains and mountains of lather. Which suits me fine as I’m cautious to wash all the soap out.
