For effective results, leave the toning conditioner in your hair for about 3-5 minutes. This allows the pigments enough time to adhere to the hair and neutralize brassy tones. If your hair is particularly brassy, you can extend this time to up to 10 minutes, but be sure to monitor the color to avoid over-toning.

Leaving Alcove's Violet Conditioner on your hair longer than recommended can result in slight over-toning, which might give a temporary purple tint to very light or porous hair. Always follow the suggested time frame and adjust according to your specific hair color and condition.
